City Rural Insurance is the Major Event Partners of The 2021 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition where over twenty artists have been selected from Flinders University and the University of South Australia, with their work set to take centre stage at flagship contemporary space, ACE Open.
The Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition has a longstanding tradition of launching the careers of South Australia’s up-and-coming visual artists – with many using the exhibition as a stepping stone to further opportunities. Many previous exhibiting artists have gone on to receive further funding, awards and scholarships, and exhibit their work nationally and internationally.
A range of creative disciplines will be on display at the event, including ceramics, painting, jewellery, photography, printmaking, video, installation and sculpture. Exhibiting artists will be eligible for 16 awards valued at over $60,000 to be presented on the opening night of the exhibition, making it one of the most significant opportunities for emerging artists in the country.
